Double-breasted, Empire-line coat loosely based on the styles of the early 19th Century (Pride and Prejudice era).
The long skirt is crisply pleated into the high-waisted bodice. The coat is fully lined and has side pockets. It can be made in wool or linen or, for a luxurious version, in silk.
