Description
Stylish Empire-line coat inspired by the designs of the early 19th century (Jane Austen era). The coat has a high waist, neat collar, turn-back cuffs and the skirts are pleated into the bodice. It has deep side pockets. It is made from herringbone linen from Baird McNutt, with contrast facings, inner collar and cuffs in raw silk. The coat is unlined and has been made up as a toile, with the seams left unfinished.
Size & Fit
We have two of these coats available, one Size Small (10-12) and one size M/L to fit size 14-16 . We have more of these fabrics so please contact us if you'd like one in a different size.
This garment uses the Rowan Toile base. You can create your own bespoke garment from our collection of quality fabrics and finishings of your choice.
