Description
The design for this jacket was taken from an old canvas one that had the name "Walter" embroidered inside, perhaps sewn by the mother of a young sailor on his way to sea. It has two large welt (slit pockets, a storm flap a curved back hem and a hood. The jacket is made from a sample piece of linen fabric in the muted colours of a winter seascape: greys, sand, olive, turquoise and blue.
